Online Products

Please note that we will make sure on-demand courses remain available for a minimum of one year after date of purchase, either on JigsawBox.com or another subsequent platform of our choosing.  If we change platforms we will notify you at the e-mail address you gave us when you purchased the course, and the e-mail address you gave JigsawBox.com.  If neither one of those remains correct, please contact our office if you realize you cannot access the course.  We hope and expect that the course will be up forever (although you won’t need it after some time!) and we will add and improve material over time, etc.  This information is a legal statement of the obligation to which we are holding ourselves and representing.

We reserve the right to delete commercial posts, posts not related to breathing, or unkind, disruptive or inappropriate posts at our discretion.  We reserve the right to remove group members whose posts we delete.

For all courses or appointments where online material becomes available at the time of registration, there will be no returns allowed for the value of the online material. They are non-refundable. 

We do not accept cancellation or returns of on-demand or home-study programs.


Group Classes

  • There are a limited number of spaces available in group classes to make sure everyone gets personal attention.  Spaces are held on a first-come, first-served basis, on receipt of online order and payment, or phone/mail registration and payment for students who don't have online access.  We accept cash, check, Visa or Mastercard.
  • If there is an early-registration period (usually two weeks to a month in advance, prior to the close of early registration), payments will be refundable less a $50 processing fee and the retail price of any home-study programs included as part of the class.
  • For all courses or appointments where online material becomes available at the time of registration, there will be no returns allowed for the value of the online material. They are non-refundable. 

  • After the close of the early registration deadline -- or if there is no early registration period, within two weeks of the class date -- payments will be non-refundable unless the class is cancelled. 

  • If the requisite number of participants is not reached by the early registration deadline for classes, the course will not proceed and all payments will be refunded.

  • If Breathing Retraining Center LLC cancels a class for any reason, student will get tuition refunded in full.
  • Notes about classes:

    • Unless otherwise noted, the class is taught by Lisa Bowen at Breathing Retraining Center's office at 12 Mitchell Blvd., San Rafael.  
    • Please don't eat at least an hour before class.
    • You will need a stopwatch or kitchen timer to do many breathing exercises. We sell timers at the class for $10. Many smartphones have this feature.

Consultations and Private Courses

We take payment for consultations at the time of appointment, unless we are forwarding the Breathing Audit or a Home-Study Course as part of the preparation and then we may request payment in advance. The online material is nonrefundable. Private course can be paid for a series in advance, or appointment by appointment.

Appointments cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment may be assessed a $50 fee for that appointment time.

Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time may be assessed a full fee for that appointment time.

Appointments where a client fails to show for a scheduled appointment will be charged a full fee.

Payments must be received prior to the next scheduled appointment.
