Buteyko Breathing Technique Long Weekend Course

Learn and practice the classical Buteyko Breathing Technique in an enjoyable long-weekend class.  

The focus will be on becoming proficient at the reduced-breathing technique to reset the respiratory center, and how to reliably and comfortably measure the control pause.

Students should have already taken our Healthy Breathing Habits class in person or online, and our Nasal Breathing Online Class, and feel confident with nasal and diaphragmatic breathing at rest and during movement.  

This class is designed with the intention that students can learn this material and enjoy a restful, restorative long weekend in Marin at the same time.  (Information on lodging and entertainment for out-of-towners here.) We meet two hours a day in the morning except for our Thursday night kickoff and dinner.

  • Two individual half-hour follow-up sessions by phone.
